Elmira Bayrasli, ModeratorBio: Elmira writes about global innovations and entrepreneurship on Entreventures on Forbes.com. Over the past two decades, Elmira has worked to support start-ups in emerging markets at Endeavor, served as the Chief Spokesperson for the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo and assisted former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, an advisory board member for the Turkish Women’s International Network and Turkish Philanthropy Funds and a mentor for the Unreasonable Institute and the Women Innovate Mobile entrepreneur incubator. She is a regular speaker on innovation and start-ups and is currently writing a book on the obstacles to global entrepreneurship.
Naveen SelvaduraiBio: Naveen is Co-founder of foursquare. Prior to founding foursquare, he was Lead Architect at Socialight and was a Senior Software Architect with the Global Digital Business group at Sony Music Entertainment. In this role, he oversaw and developed various applications that dealt with content management and distribution of mobile products and was the lead developer of Sony's Music Box mobile application. Before Sony, he consulted for New York-based Run Tones and enjoyed software engineering stints at Sun Microsystems and Lucent Technologies. Naveen holds a master's degree in computer science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Nihal MehtaBio: With over 12 years experience in innovating marketing technologies through several successful startups to date, Nihal Mehta, is a noted expert in the emerging adoption of mobile technologies for media properties and consumer brands. Named a top 10 NYC 'game changer' in the 2010 New York Enterprise Report, one of twenty RCR Wireless News 'mobile movers and shakers' in 2008, a BusinessWeek 'M-Commerce Baron' in 2006 and named one of AdAge's 'top 20 marketers in their 20s' in 2005, Nihal is currently CEO and co-founder of LocalResponse, Inc. which helps marketers respond to "check-ins". Prior to LocalResponse, (which pivoted from buzzd, a leading real-time city guide), Nihal founded ipsh!, one of the first full-service mobile marketing agencies in 2001, which he sold to Omnicom (NYSE: OMC) in 2005.
Greg GunnBio: Greg is an Entrepreneur in Residence at City Light. In 2000, he co-founded Wireless Generation, a leading educational software company now serving more than 3 million children with groundbreaking assessment and instruction products. As President, Greg created and led the product development team, shipping the award-winning mCLASS® handheld formative assessment platform.
He took over and revamped the company’s sales division, landing key state and district sales and tripling the company’s revenue in 18 months. As Chief Scientist, he designed highly effective professional development techniques and created the company’s analytics and data mining division, turning raw data into new insights about student learning progressions. The company was sold to News Corporation in December 2010. Prior to founding Wireless Generation, Greg served as Product Manager for InterDimensions, a Web solutions firm; as Product Manager for Clique.com, a New York based e-commerce startup; and as an associate at the Carlyle Group, where he focused on investments in new media, healthcare, and systems integration businesses. Greg has experience teaching mathematics, physics, and computer science to all ages from grades 4 through postgraduate. He worked for the Champion International Middle School Partnership, where he developed technology-assisted teaching methods for 6th grade mathematics. During college, he taught in the University of Chicago's Summer Math Program, where he helped develop innovative math experiences for grades 7-12. Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Chicago, an MBA and Master's in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and attended Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. He currently serves on the boards of the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, the Concord Consortium, and the Oliver Program.
Jennifer ByrneBio: Jennifer Byrne is Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Business Development for American Express’ new Online and Mobile Business unit called Serve. In this role, Jennifer is responsible for partnership strategy as well as closing agreements and implementing commerce partnerships. Prior to joining American Express, Jennifer was Executive Director, Business Development & Partnership Management at Verizon Wireless where she was responsible for leading key strategic partnerships, driving new revenue opportunities, product innovation, as well as running the VCAST Apps, Verizon’s mobile applications store and platform.
While at Verizon in previous roles, Jennifer managed cross-platform business development across FiOSTV, wireless, social media, location-based services, and ran the industry–leading mobile video service called V CAST Video. Jennifer has over 15 years of experience in business development and content distribution across various media platforms including cable, satellite, broadband, and wireless in both startups as well as established companies. Prior to joining Verizon, she held executive positions at a mobile games start-up called Hands-On Mobile, as well as CBS Broadcast Television in the distribution division. Jennifer began her career in television in Rome, Italy where she managed content acquisition & business affairs at Orbit Satellite & Cable TV Network, the industry first, multiplatform, multi-lingual TV and radio service provided to the Middle East and North Africa. Jennifer received her B.A from Duke University and speaks French, Italian and Spanish. In 2010, Jennifer was named to the Global Top 50 Women in Mobile Entertainment.
